Internal emotions

Why do we not apply our logic to our emotions, as opposed to the other way around? 

Here is a scenerio: I am walking down the street. A passerby looks at me, calls me a bitch, and keeps on going.

A lot of things can be going through a person's mind, but no one else can see what they are thinking.  Too many times a lot of people are misunderstold by other because them other people do not know who this person really is.  I've learned that a lot of people keep their feelings inside and do not like to share it with other.  I, myself try not to critise against anyone because I might not know
