* salary of funeral directors-staff decreased from $40,000 in 2004 to $38,542 in 2006.

* Embalmers-staffed-salary decrease from $38,000 in 2004 to $34,250 in 2006.

* Intern salaries increased by 7.86 percent to $26,046. (2004 to 2006)
