Inflation

We have all become victims of inflation in recent days. Prices are skyrocketing, and people are only losing jobs. The government has made their attempt to fix things, and we will see how that goes (not sure if I think it's viable).

When I think of "rice", I think of it as a basic food group, a staple that can be found in some quantity in every home imaginable. Just one cup of the little granules from a huge bag can feed a family for days.
Not so much anymore.
According to The New York Sun, areas that were once thought to be the breadbasket of the world (let alone the nation) are now crying poor in the rice department.

Hi, its me again. Ok, this weeks topic is America's average prices on products that you may find in your local grocery store. I know I'm fairly accurate on these examples because I work in a store myself. The other day I went into the breakroom and wanted to buy Pepsi so I got my fifty cents out and just happened to look up at the machine only to notice that the price had risen to sixty cents.

Hi, as you may have heard about today’s outrageously high gas prices just think about what the summer season has in store for us. Right now the price per barrel is around $100 and that results in gas prices at the pump averaging to about three dollars and nine cents in our towns and cities.
