Part of this blog is about the ever-present argument that there's not enough originality on this site. The other part is just something I've been wondering for some time. Let's start locally, here at ProgressiveU, shall we?

Quite an intriguing question to be asked; what is “progress?” Before I ramble on about what progress means to me, I feel that defining the term itself may help in understanding its importance. Progress is any positive movement. Moving beyond the limits of whatever is considered to be status-quo. Growth where growth is needed is what defines progress.

We all know that art is a form to express feelings, ideas, moments, things, looks, and many other things. Art comes in many different ways like music writting, painting, drawing, sculpting, photography, e.t.c.

being in america is a great privelage . other people in different countries don't have the freedom that we have. i am grateful.

very greatful for free education.
some teenagers do not appreciate how great it is to have a free education. i am looking forward to go to college, meeting new people, learning new things, making new friends, getting a good job, etc.

a free market system. you need money for this first, its not free to create your own business. you need to buy something first. i want to start my own business but i dont know what im gonna sell.

career choices. anyone can choose to do whatever career they wish. if i wanna be a police i can, if i want to be a singer i can (i have to be good) but whatever i choose has to be what i want. otherwise i will get stuck in a job where i dont want to work at. thats not what i would want the outcome to be.

Yep, it's seven am, I've been up all night... um, being a typical college student on my campus, you can fill in the blanks there. Anyway, seven am, sun's coming up, birds are chirping, and why would I want to go to bed with such a lovely day approaching?

This will be the first of a parallel posts about Life. I can't cover nearly everything, and there's a lot to cover. It all falls under the heading of the Beginner's Guide to Life. So, this will be the first.

What is there to say about life? There are no guides, no rules, no second chances. Every minute you've spent on life is a minute you will never have again.

I've been noticing throughout the internet, various instances of public opinions that are either misguided, misinformed, or misanthropic. It's like looking into a boiling pot in which everything sinks equally, and you can't determine where one subject ends and another begins--as they all begin to look and sound the same.

It's a common question: how do I better understand my life? How can I better understand why things happen, why people act the way they do? Why do people make irrational decisions?
