This is a Tragedy of Unfathomable Proportions

What were people thinking when they let McCain run anyway. With every passing week, the notion I hold about his sanity is confirmed. President Bush already messed up our country. I can't imagine why America supports a man who doesn't want to clean up Bush's mess altogether. McCain was recently in New Orleans and showed some more of his true colors.

As I've been pondering what it is that I'm going to my undergraduate studies in, what I'm going to major in and what it is that I'm going to do for a career, I've considered many options. First, I thought I was going to be an Art Historian. But, living in the area I do (even the surrounding area) options for employment are severely limited.

Two and a half years later.
It is finally the day that my parents are finalizing rebuilding plans. With going off to college I don't know what to feel about this. My parents really need to rebuild, after loosing everything what else should they do? This is their way to start over and have the home, and life, they always wanted.

If anyone read my other blog "Can senioritis be cured?" you know that I graduated high school in January this year. My school suggests that we do some community service or mission work; I wanted to do something, anything to help anyone.

As Kanye West so eloquently put it, “Bush doesn't care about black people”. This was the sentiment raging within the African American community after Hurricane Katrina. But how based in real facts is that statement?
