I recently saw Horton Hears a Who with my family. It was good clean fun (something hard to find in today’s society). It sparked some thinking. Are we a world sitting on a tiny spec on a flower? Is there a flower on Earth that holds a tiny world between its petals?

You Scratch My Back...I'll Scratch Yours
You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours?
Are most of us in the early stages of moral development?
Lawrence Kohlberg was a prominent psychologist of the 20th Century who believed in 6 stages of moral development.
The first stage consisted of following rules due to fear of punishment. The second stage is the ever notorious "Scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours".
On the end of humans
Of late, there seems to have been a fair amount of concern regarding the changing climatic conditions on earth. There is a sizable opinion that these changes are the direct result of human actions, and that our climate would not be undergoing them if humans had been more environmentally considerate throughout our history and in our present.

People Change about as easy as God dies.
People can't change. They're afraid of change even though everyone admits that they aren't. Now say someone is very timid and shy and then suddenly they are this brash, outspoken person, have they changed? Sure but they haven't.

The Muck We Live and Breathe
I have a confession to make. I would actually like to keep our world healthy.
I know, most of you are sitting there thinking - ok, so? Big deal. Tons of people do. In fact, I think that guy down the street no one talks too wants to save the earth. So do I! I give donations to....and thats when I cut ya'll off.

The Price We Pay for Denial (the ever controversial global warming)

Coincidence? - I think NOT
The Human Race
Sitting in class the first day of school I was impressed the most by my psychology teacher. I find that we have much in common and maybe think the same way on certain topics. Whats I like most about him is that he unlike most teachers in my opinion brings up good points. One of my favorite lines of his is "we are only cavemen with BMW'S".
