It is far easier, I think, being a male in this world than a female. That I am spared the tremendous amount of frankly frightening realities of femality is a relief to me. The physical realities, such as menstruation, child birth, and menopause, are the obvious ones.

I have this friend, Mirena. She has completely changed my life ever since I met her over two years ago. At that time, I had really terrible back pain with lots of bleeding during my periods. Most times I would get a fever and feel nauseous as well.

PCOS: Can I Have Babies or What? Stop Dinking Me Around

So about a week or so ago I found out I had been diagnosed with PCOS, aka Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Turns out I had been diagnosed a few years ago in my medical records, but the doctors failed to actually TELL me (we'll leave that one for a later blog).
