I have decided to change my major. After one semester doing internship at an elementary school for second grade I do love the little ones But there are so many complications when it comes to me. I have a low immune system so any time a child gets sick I will as well, I do not think it will be the school best interest for me to be a teacher if I am always sick.

My name is Evan Taylor and, I would like to speak about an issue very close to my heart. The State of Black Students. Where we are, Where we want to be, and how we are going to get there. I have a short speech and then, I am going to direct the attention to my panel and they will speak.

First of all, this is my first time posting on progressiveu. I found it through my scholarship page on FastWeb. So I figured I would give it a shot considering I use to update my regular journal on livejournal quite frequently with complaints of daily events within the school and socially.

Fastweb.com or Scholarships.com, come to mind and to your web search engine when you type in scholarships. These two websites offer the ability to be able to look for different scholarships and opportunities for money to be used toward higher education costs, yet many individuals dont use them, why?

College is an amazing opportunity and according to media and our schools, there is a college for everyone now a days. If this is true then why all the fuss and pain and miserable hours and sleepless nights dedicated to thoughts of college: the right college, the affordable college... and did I mention these thoughts are that of an 8 year old?
