I Can't Believe it's not Butter!

I am a bit odd when it comes to buying certain grocery items; butter is one of these items.
I bake a lot, especially cakes from scratch; so for this I buy stick butter. Real butter melts smoother and because there's no added oil or water, it doesn't separate as I melt it to mix into my cakes. The only thing I have to do (depending on the recipe) is sift out the bits of milk solids that gets left after butter melts. For sliced bread and the like, I buy the squeeze butter (as if butter wasn't already lazy enough). It's easier to spread, and there's less sodium and fat than the stick butter I buy. Read More »
