I've always had a pretty close relationship with little creatures, mostly ants. I still like to watch them to their thing from time to time, even if it's in the middle of the sidewalk. I've saved my share of spiders and roaches from certain death when they've encroached on my loved ones' living quarters. However, there is one little insect that is indeed a pest to me--the mosquitoes.
I understand hatred from a logical, psychological standpoint -- how it works, reasons as to which people might have it -- but not from the deeper recesses of understanding.
Often during winter nights, I like to walk the empty courts and streets of my neighborhood. I like to be alone, to gaze at the stars, and make my way under the streetlights. However, for the past few days, my thoughts have been invaded by this particular, young boy. He, I believe, is around eight, and, during the day, I see him often. No, I do not look for him. I just notice him.

Why do we all hate the Chatolic Church so much. The Da Vinci code, The Golden Compass. Popular culture loves to beat up on the pope and the vatican. It seems like its been the cool thing to do in America for the past 150 years to hate catholics (The KKK's number one enemy in the 1920's and 1930's were the Catholics)
