I've spent a lot of time criticizing globalism and the planned North American Union (the combination of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico similar to the European Union), but I've come to the conclusion that it is inevitable. Beyond the Borders
I have been lucky. I’ve had the unique opportunity to do some traveling around the globe, and I actually currently live in Japan. Interestingly, the driving force of these two world powers are one in the same- imperialism.
But do not be mistaken- the imperialism of Britain and America may be similar in their desire for economic growth, however, their main goals and their results are completely different. A better definition of the imperialism today, referred to as "globalism", would be the rise of Pax Economia
