It seems the platypus really is God’s little joke.
DNA studies recently found out that the reason the widely-agreed-to-be-mammalian-platypus exhibits characteristics of mammals, birds, and reptiles is, no joke, platypus have DNA structures of mammals, birds, and reptiles.
Well I'm technically not a mutant. My little cousins are, so is most of my family. We function quite fine for the most part; I just like to say I'm a genetically normal person with Fragile X (FX) tendencies.
Many people are put off by the idea of cloned meats. I can understand the kind of mad scientist laboratory scenario that would go through your head when you think of eating a cut of cloned meat. The thought generates many unsavory pictures in ones head mainly because of the lack of understanding of the actual process that happens.

My sister went to an all girls private school from 3rd grade to graduation. Also attending the school were several Jewish girls of various background (perhaps more of extraordinary background), several Whites girls of Irish/Scots dependency, a black girl or two, a couple Asians and Indian/Middle Easterners.
I started a thread on "Fragile X" on a Catholic forums and I was booted off. It said the reason was "anti-Semitic" postings and I was being as charitable a Christian as I could. If you don't know what this disease is -- I was unaware of it and I concider myself a very informed and medically aware person.
