This Wednesday night, I found myself videotaping my high school's Spring Choir Concert for our local educational access channel. We have a great choir; the kids have performed at Carnegie Hall many times, gone on tour overseas, and go to California every two years to perform.
I want to take a moment to talk to you about piercings. Many people have them, many people like them, just as many people can't stand them. The question I'm asking here is what makes a piercing different than other jewelry?

Yesterday I wore a skirt. Apparently this is quite a startling event - I got quite a few strange looks as I walked around on campus. I also noticed that virtually no other people were wearing skirts.
It seems that everywhere you turn in today's mainstream media, there are always people attacking conservatives, especially conservative Christians. Now, attacking people you don't disagree with is fine, it's when you are vicious about, and chastise them if they respond, that really rankles me.
Nowadays, there is censoship in the things we read, write, and listen to. I myself have seen it in education. When i was in the 11th grade, my histroy teacher gave everyone a big project. we could pick any big event that happened in the history of the united states. i chose the civil war. We also had to make atri-fold poster board and a 3-d image of our topic.
If you haven't heard, new legislation is being initiated across the country that could mean that if your jeans hang low in public, you'll be paying for it.
