free hugs

Percy Julian Middle School in Oak Park, Illinois, banned students from hugging each other on the campus ground. Their excuses are to improve punctuality, assist in crowd control, and not have other kids feel left out. Doesn't it sound a little bit ridiculous?

Hey all...so I haven't blogged in awhile mainly because I was busy with this project, Free Hugs for Darfur. I took the idea from the original video on Youtube and added a social twist to it. Anyways we had tables with information and we were collecting money and it was a really great experience. Best of all it is really simple to do in your town.
