Even in our world that seems so full of hate, violence, mistrust, shame, and abuse, I would wholeheartedly argue that true love still exists and is all around us.

My perspective is changing about the recent raid in Texas on a religious sect after a young girl may have reported being abused. Now that the mothers of the children who have been taken away by Child Protective Services have spoken out and voiced their side of the story, I am reminded that we as readers rarely get the whole truth.

"Where is it coming from, this echo, this huge No that surrounds you...?"

There was always this sense that I can't. Just can't. Or shouldn't. Whatever it was, I shouldn't.

Blame a verb meaning to find fault or to hold responsible. It is something we all do. We point fingers, call names, and tear down those who cause the acts we do not approve of. It is meant with a negative connotation and is rarely followed with forgiveness. Most of us blame others. Some of us blame our selves.

Last night my brother and I got into a silly argument, a tension that built as a result of a miscommunication. My brother and I have to share a car when he is home from school, and we both had to work really early. I told the lady who I nanny for that I would be over after I got off from my other job to spend the night so I would be there when she left in the morning for work.

I am afraid to be Catholic.

It must sound insane, coming from a girl who went to Catholic schools from kindergarten until 9th grade, but Pope Benedict's edicts and ideas scare the hell out of me.
