Purpose of Life

As I was just skimming through several comments on a blog,  I noticed that someone wrote something along the lines of, "You can't find out your purpose by asking someone else. You have to search within yourself to find your purpose." On the surface, this comment SEEMS to make sense. But I think it goes a bit deeper than looking inside yourself.

Stand Like the Rock, Flow Like the Water

In order to stand your ground, like the mighty rock, you must understand that the strongest rock can be weakened, the sturdiest rock can be shaken, and even the mightiest rock can be diminished.  It is important to understand that the water, ever changing, is more powerful than the stiff rock.The reason I typed those wonderful words of wisdom, paraphrased from Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching, is because I find that in modern America, we can accept no way of thinking perpendicular to our own.  We tend to see our way as the right way and that there can be no other way.  How many of you can honestly say that you've taken time to consider the oppositions argument?  I
