I'm a huge fan of the Social Model of Disability. We've established this, right, guys? I mean, I l know you've only known me for a few hours, but if you know one thing about me, it's that, am I correct?

Let's face it people, we all have fears, no matter how petty or how serious. For example, I am terrified of clowns and puppets, won't go near them if I can help it. Also, because I have extreme paranoia at times, I have a fear of doing certain things, sometimes I can even be afraid of stairs. So how do we deal with our fears?

I've been taking Psychology this year, and as the year ends, I've been reflecting on some of the things we've learned about. If you're familiar with psychology terms, you'll know what a "critical period" is. For those of you who don't know, allow me to explain.

Are you afraid of the dark?

Or are you really afraid of the silence? The solitude?

The Mirror Image of a Shattered Love

My decision to enroll in college wasn't easily made. I labored for months with the thousand questions of "where will I go", "what will I do", and "how will I pay for it?!"

Last Thrusday, my school had a lock-down. I was sitting in French 4 with my friends when the assistant principal came on the PA system and announced an emergency lock-down. Everyone rolled there eyes and Madame started across the hall because she once again forgot her keys and needed Senora to lock her door for her.

Guns are really very simple machines that anyone who has a logical thinking prossess could make. Why is everyone so afraid of guns. i took a pistol just the other day, took the clip out, opened the slide and handed it to my girlfriend. i told her to press the slide release, the slide slammed closed and she freaked.
