exposure to feminism

The Feminine Mystique By Betty Friedan

Flatland By: Edwin A. Abbott
Flatland is an embodiment of how women were thought of during the composition of the book. The following is the chapter of which I made my reflection.
4. Concerning the Women.

The Woman's Cause by Fredrick Douglas
The following is a personal reflection inspired by The Woman's Cause by Fredrick Douglas:

Pink Think
I was reading Lynn Peril's essay and there were some things that I found pretty persuasive and agreeable in it. In her essay "Pink Think," Lynn Peril talks about the widespread ideal femininity in today's society.

F-that.
I'm really sick of the word 'feminist' being put in a negative connotation. And the consequent adulteration, the word 'feminazi.' It disgusts and amazes me at how well the media has taken the bulk of feminism and managed to focus on feminists that burn bras in the street and vow to hate men.
