I've been steadily distancing myself from sporting engagements. I used to play them all--basketball, baseball, soccer. But I suppose by the time we turn 18, it's time to move on; to become more realistic while still maintaining a romantic youngness and innocence. And so, I've channeled the naturally-American obsession with competition and turned it into an environmental nuance.

I don't quite understand, so maybe someone can explain this to me.
We have cars.
We have solar panels.
We have tools and methods to attach the two together.
Why haven't the two ever met each other?
And if they already have, why have I never seen a single solar powered car in my travels?

With the present war and rapidly fluctuating gas prices, it’s important for the United States Government to assess and recognize the need for alternate energy sources that will not cause any more damage to the environment and will also create independence for the United States from their addiction to oil and therefore unhealthy political relations with oil-supplying countries.
