I have finally come to terms with the truth that no matter where I go, whether the sexual harassment policy is taken seriously or not, I will always have some 50-something year old fat pig making sexual and derogatory statements about me and to me.

Why People Make Me Bitter
Okay, so really I'm a big fan of people. I love watching them, interacting with them, etc. I love it. However, when I'm at work, that boat sometimes flips over completely. Every now and then I get customers that make rude remarks, throw things at me, and are just total grumps.

Project's Over, Thank You for Your Help....Whoring in Corporate America
I received the dreaded phone call on Monday, the one I was hoping I would not get this time, but I guess it was inevitable. Dig that Conservation Corps
Spring is here everywhere I turn in Montana. We have a corny old axiom for those of you who cannot visualize the weather we're eternally captivated by. This is Day three of "We don't need you to come in today."

No, it wasn’t a pity hire, it was because she liked the way I had handled myself. Let me give you some back story.
I finally found the light at the end of the long and dangerous job-hunt tunnel
I live in Michigan, to be a little more exact, the edge of southern Metropolitan Detroit. As many of you know the Michigan economy is rapidly declining.
Hate Poor People? Raise the Minimum Wage.
Generally when people think about raising the minimum wage they think about the amount of money more that there will be had and the benefit there will be to the poor people. Well unfortunately - as pointed out by Art Carden (Economics professor at Rhodes College) - almost every time the government enacts an economic policy, that policy actually hurts the people it was meant to help.
