This entry is the first in a series chronicling my activism adventures with my three young charges. Wee tinys can be activists. They have strong feelings about things, but often feel powerless to do anything about their feelings. Teaching them proactive strategies for bettering their world gives them the tools to stand up for themselves and their beliefs later in life. This is my mission with my charges.

A new website, CARMA, ranks power companies and power plants by the amount of power and emissions they generate. It's a great statistical tool. Results can be filtered by country and other variables, and can be viewed in list format or on a map that ranks power plants by cleanliness and amount of power generated.

This stems from my last post about a need for change in our way of life.  I listed some things that I currently do, but then I started thinking about things that I can do in the future.
