The second week of March has marked the broadcast of another devastating blow to US male politicians. Tuesday, federal investigators released an affidavit that led to allegations of New York State Governor Eliot Spitzer's involvement in a high-end international prostitution ring.
When in grade school, everybody learns that the American Civil War was about slavery. Then as students become older, the school systems introduce how the issues that brought on the Civil War were more complicated than that, and it was also about the rights of the states to govern themselves versus the right of the nation to be unified (States vs. Federal). The Civil War may be long over, but the issues that started it have never been resolved.
