I feel like I'm getting better at doing less whining and crying about my situation and starting to fight back. The thing about all that paperwork you sign in the beginning folks... the stuff your government created for you to protect you from workplace harassment, sexual harassment and what-not...your right to privacy. It's all bullshit.
In addition to the "feminine problem" that needed to be addressed, I also got hit with a terrible case of the flu. This (as crazy as it sounds) was great because I was able to get into the doctor on Monday without lies, embarassment or invasion of privacy, and take care of myself for once.
It’s crazy the number of books I’ve seen at bookstores with ways to be “his ideal woman” or “the way to be happy is by pleasing a man”. This being the twenty-first century we should be at the point where books would help a woman become nothing more than her own self. Now we all know that when a woman is in a relationship there is nothing wrong with making her guy happy.
There are many incorrect assumptions about girls and women who have abortions. Typically anti-abortionists assume that they are young, had sex consensually, did not use protection, and were aware of the consequences. They are accused of being irresponsible, not wanting to face the consequences of their actions, lazy, etc.
Time to clear up those misconceptions.
I'm an artist, and I think because of that, I'm forever doomed to be a hopeful romantic. I believe that there is someone out there, who fits within my own life. I hope.... no I pray... that there is a woman that wants to share her beautiful moments with me.

I wanted to use this blog to be progressive. What I thought was progressive was broadening my horizons by sharing my opinions and reading the opinions of others on current political issues: the presidential race, environmental issues, current news stories. But now I'm sitting here realizing that within my own life, I have made a progressive observation.
