Over the past few years I've had to wonder what really constitutes as a single-parent home. Obviously there's the general case where a family only has one parent around.
But is there any other type of family (yes, "type") that can be considered a "single-parent family?"  Read More »

-Mother is disabled, receives small monthly checks
-Father laid off at Thanksgiving, currently unemployed
-Me working part time and going to school part time
-Younger sister full time student
-Parents filed bankruptcy due to medical bills
-House ready to be foreclosed
