I always wondered where my fascination of fireflies came from.
The able-bodied slow moving beetles with green asses being caught in my cupped hands... I didn't have sweaty palms, but that boy did- trying to go along with my adventure. I could tell he wasn't for me, the way he acted when I tried to get him to go out sporadically and just explore.
