Does anybody else think it's a little bit weird how Clinton is now stuck to Obama's hip and he's raising all of this money that SHE spent so SHE won't go into debt? Forgive me if I'm wrong but um.....didn't it look like a crazy brawl was going on between them a few weeks ago? One of the most immature political races I've ever seen. And now they're best buds? OK I'm totally confused......
debt

Is everybody else ok with Clinton mooching off of Obama? Just wanted to throw that out there

Thoughts of today on political freedom
As I sit here and listen to The Beatles and let my mind wander around the landscape of todays current events and the freshest of fresh minds writing and thinking hard (to show us they are the best, not to actually BE the best) I really wonder if the majority of this country could really be as stupid as the news anchors and public speakers in the loop may make them out to be. Then I realize...

Changes come (full version)
Changes come as leaves fall from the trees
Another way to "get through" to them
Said with a chuckle
Amongst coy responses
Told to say what we might take
In stride to look like cake
Like a bad plot in a movie
This talk cant be real
Are people really listening intently?
Look at their faces as these words
Jumble out of lips built for lies

Obsession: Money

Instead of going down to Corpus or crazy South Padre, I have chosen to stay at home and not to hang out with friends, but to work. Why? Money.
Americans... what are we to do!
Money... its something we all think about, and something most of us want more of. I myself am more than guilty of money lust. I live in the suburbs of southern California and lets just say where I live money is definitely not in short supply. I am not a person who likes to spend tons of money on something I know isn't worth it.
Teach finance in high school
After reading an article on financial literacy, linked at the bottom, I've decided finance classes or something similar should be required in high school. Basically the articles are stating that a large percent of people don't understand debt, including how to compute compound interest, and that this could be a reason why some people have so much of it.

Cut the Pork: A Brief Guide to the Truth about the Budget
The United States of America is at a breaking point. Under the Bush Administration, the federal debt has grown by a whopping 61%, a shocking $3.5 trillion increase from an already frightening $5.7 trillion debt to a disgustingly high $9.2 trillion. This puts the nation in a downright perilous situation.
Debt Is BAD
Three years ago, a friend walked into the coffee shop we worked at with one of those naughty grins. It was one of those irrepressible smiles that show up soon after eating an entire pint of ice cream for breakfast or cheating and getting away with it in cards. My friend, let's call him Tom, had just received his first credit card ever.
