Newsweek stirs funeral cost pot!

On July 3rd 2008, Newsweek did an article creating a funeral cost stir. The picture of the biodegradable casket gives you a look at future funeral cost. Joshua Slocum of the Funeral Consumers Alliance also did a great Job handling comments after the article appeared. Slocum is a true Funeral Futurist. The article is Called "A Serious Undertaking." and is about future funeral cost.

Founder of Disney World was a low Funeral Cost Guy because....he witnessed the horrors of death. This is because he was an ambulance driver for the Red Cross in World War One. War and death are horrible and the funeral cost was too high for Walt Disney as it is for most folks today.

Health Cost brings Funeral Cost but your death Bed and Casket?

It is more than obvious that if your health costs skyrocket and your very sick your family may incur funeral cost. It is quite eerie to think that the same company that charges you for your death bed( health cost) charges you for your casket(funeral cost).

Before the Civil War Home Funerals were popular with little or no funeral cost, Now Home funerals are back again with little funeral cost. They are also eco-friendly.
It is going on in England, New Zealand, The Northwest in the United States, and around the world.

Two 'green' cemeteries in the state of Maine reject embalming, expensive caskets and vaults....these cemeteries are recently created.

My, what an expensive hobby

In elementary school, I loved Art. I mean, I really, really loved Art. I tried my hardest each time I had class, and my work even got chosen to be displayed in the Capitol Art Exhibit in Atlanta. After I finished my art classes in highschool, I fell out of the habit, and out of the hobby I used to spend so much time pursuing.
