Lately there have been quite a few blurbs in the news about whether or not the American economy is headed toward a recession. Many have been in denial of this fact, but I recently read an article that accepted this recession and suggested ways that consumers could safeguard against it. The main one being save your money, just in case you get laid off. However, this is awfully dumb.

Just a few years ago, a huge debate was started when Microsoft launched its latest version of Windows for the PC, Windows XP (TM). This newest version of windows was to be the best, the top of the line... It was going to allow for higher levels of support with Remote Assistance, faster speeds, and a more chic designed look.

I recently read an article about a councilwoman and her ambition to close the many fast-food eateries along a corridor in the city. Her claim was that the fast food restaurants were in a low income are of town and that the people don't want them there but they have no other viable choices.
