How ridiculous is it that our country and our country’s highest court just upheld a law that is centuries out of date? I move to repeal the right to bear arms from the U.S. Constitution because it is outdated, dangerous and a threat to the future of this country.
The paleoconservatives are members of a dying breed. Although the term itself is probably only a couple decades old, the ideology behind it is older than America, and nearly all of our Founding Fathers adhered to its tenets. They believed that government had no business meddling in the affairs of the private citizen or the free market.
Progress, oh yes good old fashion progress, yes sir-ee-bob progress. Progress. Hmm…?
Progress is making your situation better everyday. It’s about working hard everyday to shape your world into something you want it to become.
I will admit I am not even remotely conservative in anything I do. I have no qualms talking about sex. And I’ll be damned if I’m shushed for having an intelligent discussion about drugs. I don’t shy away from racy topics. I’ve never really felt the need to limit myself to what is acceptable by polite society.
The United States of America is at a breaking point. Under the Bush Administration, the federal debt has grown by a whopping 61%, a shocking $3.5 trillion increase from an already frightening $5.7 trillion debt to a disgustingly high $9.2 trillion. This puts the nation in a downright perilous situation.

WHO IS HE?: Republican politician, Governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, ordained Southern Baptist minister, reknowned homophobic, and candidate for President.
Many right-wingers today who called themselves conservative don't even know what conservatism is. They spew right wing talking point that had been ingrained into their brains by the pundits on the right wing radio and Fox news. Right-wingers claim to be a conservative but had they ever read the history of conservatism by well-known conservatives?
