My students run water like crazy while washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc. They put a couple articles of clothing into a whole washing machine load. They blast the air conditioner while having the windows open, and they constantly leave lights on.
At the current rate of deforestation, most of the worlds rainforests will be gone by 2050. It seems as though we see the rainforests as nothing more than a source of timber. In our greed we fail to notice the magic and beauty hidden among us. For thousands of years people and animals alike have depended on the rainforest for food, shelter, and medicine. Yes, medicine.

I can't even begin to count the amount of plastic bags I see in the trash everyday. I don't people realize how much you can do with a plastic bag, so I have decided to dedicate this post completely to plastic bags and how you can put them to use. Not only will you be saving CO2 from being released into the atmosphere, but you will also be recycling and reducing your waste consumption.
So I'm huge into the "green" living. I am hopeful and optimistic about the world's efforts to make the world a better place to live. Although we are the ones who turned our planet into a living hell... Even more the reason to dig ourselves back out before it gets too late. Liquid coal is something that not many of you have heard about more than likely but it is becoming an increasing concern. Yes, simply burning coal for energy is not enough anymore they are trying to expand our finite supply of coal to do even more for us so that it may run out quicker. They are attempting to create liquid coal plants at just $10 billion a factory.
So...what's up with humans and destroying top predators? It sounds like a bad joke, but frankly, it seems like a recurring theme in the relationships humans have with wildlife. Save a deer? Great! Save a wolf? No way!
