ok well this is my first blog and i just want to write what im feeling right now. im in class and i was thinking about my school and the people in it. and i come to realize there is a lot of racism in this school. not by the kids but by the teachers and administrators. my school is a mixed school you cant really tell which race dominates.
You may have heard about the recent violence in Kenya, including a church burning in Eldoret, and 350,000 people displaced (according to Newsweek). Here are five ways you can help the Kenyan people during this time of crisis.
1. World Vision: Donate to emergency aid disaster response. World Vision is an excellent humanitarian and child sponsorship organization.
2. Kenya Children’s Fund: Donate or sponsor a child. Kenya Children’s Fund is an excellent child sponsorship organization located in Kinyago-Dandora in Nairobi, Kenya--one of the regions affected by the recent violence.
I sponsor 18-year-old Faizo through this organization. I’d like to share some quotes from his letters with you. He wants to be a doctor, which he considers "a marvelous career." His role models are his teachers, who "are sharpening my mind to be full of knowledge, so that one day I could help my society in rebuilding it." He also writes, "I don’t know how I can express my gratitude to you but I’m really happy and glad."

Lately, I've been hearing a lot of about the conflict concerning Kosovo's secession from Serbia causing all kinds of mayhem in the Balkans and I'm wondering what the problem is.
It's so hard to understand someone else's problem unless you are immersed in it yourself.
I'll try to recant the information as accurately as I can in order to make an assessment of the situation.
I think we can all agree that society is learned and passed down from one generation to the next. To see the roots of our society, we can look to agrarian cultures from the Neolithic. Even from the pre-domestication Kebaran period, modern humans used violence as ritualized communication.
Continuation of my paper that uses Turkey and Iran to show how Islam has a different role and place in different societies and cultures...and Islam is not what is the present day cause of everything wrong with the "Muslim World."

Some people suck. There's not much one can do about it. It's just the facts of life. And sometimes, that in and of itself sucks. Other times, however, you can do something about it and tell them they suck. It sounds a heck of a lot easier than it is. Most people just don't have the ability to be told they suck and still retain their adult like rationality.
