I saw some clips of what the Iranian President stated in his speech at Columbia University. I totally support the fact that Columbia still invited the guy even after many harsh criticisms. However, it seems like the school invited him only to embarrass and laugh at the Iranian President. And yes, Ahmadinejad really did stated the quote in the title regarding homosexuals in his country.

"In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country."

I wonder why it is so hard for people to accept the personal freedom one individual has to accept a certain religious, mystical, or agnostic...etc. belief.
Why do we get so touchy, offended, sucked in, emotional, unreasonable...angry, hateful, prejudice, judgmental and all those other words when we have to talk about our religion v. someone else's.
WHY?
