I am what my husband lovingly calls a buddylist snob. My IM lists, my address book, my friend lists on Facebook, MySpace and here on ProgressiveU aren't chock full of people as are many others. Those that have a place on such lists have, for one reason or another, earned that place. If I don't know and like you, your friend requests on Myspace will go rejected.
Why not take the time and write something informative? And while you're at it, check your spelling, too!

Ok, so anyone who has been somewhat active on the site over the past couple days has probably seen a few blogs here and there about how the quality of the site has gone down. If you've been here longer, you've probably seen dozens and dozens of blogs telling you how to write a good blog. I'll summarize the content part in one line: So what?
Hello Progressive Bloggers. . .I have been apart of ProgressiveU for sometime now; recently I have taken a break from the site to collect thoughts and focus on some other things but I have been visiting and I absolutely love what is being written. Last writing term wasn't busy (activity wise) but had many great bloggers but now it seems as if ProU is growing rapidly.
So, I have an idea :)
I know, I know; It doesn't happen often. And generally, when it does happen, it means a whole lot more work for me.
But, hear me out... There are several blogs tagged with "Coalition for Good Blogging"; but what does this tag really mean?
That's right, I give up.
I've come to the conclusion that there is no way to get the majority of you into the real purpose of this scholarship, or the program behind it. For every awesome blog posted, there are at least 4-5 mediocre to very poor blogs posted, and then another 3-4 blogs complaining about the mediocre to poor blogs being posted.
Can I say how much I hate - and I do mean hate - deleting blogs, moderating comments, unpublishing blogs, blocking user accounts...etc.?
But it's all I seem to do lately. And, apparently, it's all I seem to see several others do as well.
