My mom often points out how much I look like my best friend. We both have shoulder length hair, layered of course, and with bangs that hang over our eyes. Our only physical difference is that she is much taller than I am. I'm no longer surprised when people think we're sisters, because after hanging out with her for the past thirteen years of my life, I'd expect to look something like her.

I'm More Like You and Less Like Me

The Disasters of High School Cliques
Being a student at a fairly large high school, I see my fair share of cliques, and exclusive social groups. I see the many general characteristics of the groups, and how they act, dress, and treat other people. I will also say that I am not judging people by stereotypes, or individually.

The Negative Influence of Peer Pressure and Cliques
I am sure that everyone who has ever attended school has seen many cliques. I came to the realization that many people who join a clique are easy to be influenced by others and this means that peer pressure causes them to do things that they wouldn't normally do.

Depression
Depression hurts, as everyone knows. But why do people feel depressed? I know that right now, I'm depressed. Yet, when I ask myself why I hurt, I can't seem to get an answer. I think it stems from all the times I've been picked on. Let me tell you a little about my history.
Cliques: Good or not?!
Cliques: Defined in Webster dictionary as a narrow exclusive circle or group of persons

Life is drawing with no eraser
It's funny how life is sometimes. I walk into a grocery store right and while I'm paying for my groceries, I see 5 members of the high school football team still working there. They all live with their parents and when their shift is over their rents come and pick them up. Now it's all gravy being in college, but that's their full time job. Bagging my groceries just like everyone says they do.
I'm Talking to The Girl in the Third Row: Intro
Now, we can all talk about politics and presidents and why this policy sucks and why that media coverage is made of fail, but there are somethings that some people will never be able to understand. That is the world of high school.
and this is the third row.

Defined By Your Clique
Belonging to a clique/peer group is very important to most adolescents. It provides closeness with peers, freedom from parents and authority, it also helps teens define them selves – helps them establish an identity.
