So I’m taking Latin I just for kicks and we learn a lot about Roman mythology, it’s pretty sweet. So anyway the other day we read the story of Hercules. I always figured the story of Hercules was pretty straight forward:
“The dude is half God and is really strong… Spends his life killing monsters. The End.”
This blog is a direct response to an earlier blog "Why i'm Wiccan" by a blogger "tabias" I find it rather interesting that the Wiccan would state his grievances and attack Christianity (which is not uncommon for almost if not ALL other popular religions to do), and in the end what he really does is express what many people who have converted from Christianity have in common.
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Does that sound familiar? Well its missing a certain part at the end. "So help me god." Those little words have been added to almost every presidential oath since 1800. However they are not and have never been part of the constitution. (The constitution has lines that outline exactly what a president must say when taking office;hint its the first lines of this blog.)
