You Can't Take My Scholarship From Me!

After weeks of not knowing what school to go to and constantly debating one school against the other, I finally chose a college based on the financial aid I was receiving. I didn't think I would be attending this school since the tuition is $43,000 a year. FAFSA had advised me to take out $30,000 in loans. When it seemed like I wouldn't be going, I find the perfect scholarship for me.

Colleges?! Are you for REAL!?

I always knew Foreign Languages wasn't a popular major when it came to colleges in America. Heck, I barely thought I'd succeed in finding one that really set my needs...

Go away to college or attend a highly recognized local college?

I am in my senior year of highschool and trying to decide if I want to go away to college or not. I told myself over the last four years that I would, but now that the time is here, I'm not so sure. I'm trying to find out which is better. Of course, my mother wants me to stay in town, telling me I'm more familiar with my surrounding and that my family is here if I need them.

As the first person in my family to go to college, at times I felt lost in not only the application process, but also when I arrived at my university.

I want to go there. No...here.

Is anyone crushing your dreams or ambitions right now? If they are, I sympathize with you. If no one is, please get what I'm saying.

"Welcome To Your New Home"

Sunday morning I woke up at 5:30 am, got dressed and ready, woke up my parents, and set off to Maryland for Accepted Students Day. Although I was anxious, I slept most of the way in the car. When we arrived at the college and I was a little disappointed.

Is It Just Me

Is it just me or are all high school seniors sick of the college process?
By now, we have found from most, if not all of our selected colleges if we got accepted or rejected. So you've narrowed it down to your top choices, sent in FAFSA, got your financial aid packages, only to have not enough money. So you search and search for scholarships.
