choices

Over the weekend I took my first steps towards my new adventure, college orientation. I showed up not knowing what to expect, except complete awkwardness; I didn't know anyone who would be there.

Abortion...the word itself stirs up intense feelings of unexplained fear, raging anger, sheer hopelessness, or for some, instant relief. This controversial issue can ignite heated conversations and worthwhile debates. One cannot truthfully make an educated decision about abortion, unless full knowledge is accurately received and seriously contemplated.

Let me paint a picture. I am loved by many people. Some of them are good for me, some of them aren't. They all love me and I love them. I don't love all their choices as I'm sure they do not love all of mine.

Regardless of what we think personally, the government has decided it needs to take part in what an individual woman should or should not do to/with her body in terms of pregnancy primarily. My question is why do they care so much?

I rushed in the house to find my 3 month old daughter face down in the couch with pillows stached on top of her. She was screaming uncontrolably.
I lifted her up, she was sweaty and red, she had been crying for some time. I held her to me, and looked her father in the eye. He had been playing computer. She wouldnt stop crying. He was muffling the noise.

When one is a kid dreams are crazy. Actually, any person, no matter their age, is able to dream anything. As time passes a person changes their old dreams for new dreams thinking that this are better. Most of the time the new dreams are better than the old ones because as a person grows on the outside they also grow on the inside becoming more mature and ready to make choices.

Sometimes I forget how smart God is. Well, not forget, ignore. Tonight I went to a concert at my church, and I hadn't really planned on going. The music isn't really my style, slow and super church-y. I prefer my worship to be a little more hardcore, or to be in a very small setting.

Since I was born, I have suffered from moderate to severe asthma. As I grew older, my symptoms got worse, attacks more frequent. I soon discovered that my asthma is triggered by multiple things: exercise, cold air, allergies, and stress.
