I have become aware of a story where a woman was pregnant with her second child. She held a good position in society and it was decided for her that she would have an abortion. Her clothes and belongings were taken from her hospital room and she was told she would have the abortion the next day. Scared, she called a friend.
To debate the existence of evolution in one form or another would be sheer idiocy to such a degree that it would be impossible. Namely because any person holding a belief that evolution does not occur would not have undergone the process of change which leads one from conception to birth to language acquisition. So we can safely take evolution as a fact.
There are two major components in identifying the difference between what is ethical and what is not:
1) What do we use to base our ethical standards?
2) How are those standards applied to specific situations faced in daily life?

I did not take part of the writing of the constitution. I have never had a upper experience with a celestial being. I am a nonsmoker and I hate to be around second hand smoke. I’m thankful for laws preventing smoking in restaurants and stores, but are we going too far? Our country is increasingly creating bans on smoking in work places and restaurants and even bars. Now a woman may be prevented from smoking in her own home.
I've read one too many blogs today where the author states that they believe homosexuality is a CHOICE.
Folks, I'm here to tell you it's NOT A CHOICE.
I'm gay and the only choice that I had was in admitting it to myself and coming out.
