It seems like today there is more intolerance than ever. Everywhere you look there is a war, genocide, fight, all words meaning one thing: Intolerance.

At the age of 5, right after our preschool graduation, my best friend Ricardo "Cardo" passed away of a brain tumor. I can't remember the first time I wrote a poem about him, but I must have been about 7 years old or so. I don't have the original copy, but I will never forget what I was thinking then.

I am sick today. Unable to really move around or get out of bed. It makes me think. It makes me think of all the times I've needed help and never recieved it, at least not by Christians. It made me think of when my friend broke her foot and I (an agnostic) was the only one who helped her. Read More »
Today I got the chance to help out a friend whom I haven't seen in a long time. It was a completely random meeting and the timing couldn't have been any better. It was a simple thing like giving him a ride home so he didn't have to walk; but it just felt nice to do something for someone to make their day better. Read More »
