Do your values make a difference in your career? You'd better believe it!

If you enjoy solving problems and working for progress, there are all sorts of career options open to you. But we can say with conviction that you will be happier and make a bigger difference if you work in a progressive organization. If you are an artist or an entertainer there are also many paths you can take, and we'll talk about some of the options here. If you are an educator or a journalist, or working toward becoming one, you will be more effective if you have a firm grounding in progressive principals and priorities.

Troubles on my mind

I may have done something stupid. Well, not really in the long run, but it will definitely cause me some problems right now.

College scares me

I'm applying for NDSU right now, but I don't know if it's a decision I'll like in 20 years. Going to college is something most people don't... really think about. It's usually a question of where should I go to college, rather than should I go to college.

Project's Over, Thank You for Your Help....Whoring in Corporate America

I received the dreaded phone call on Monday, the one I was hoping I would not get this time, but I guess it was inevitable. The temp service I have been working with informed me that Friday will be my last day. The project is over, leaving me, once again, terrified wondering if I am going to be able to keep a roof over my head and food in my belly.

There's something so lovely and perfect about published authors' blogs. They are not what you'd call works of art, by all means, as entries merely pose as breaks from their high-tension, deadlined works their careers depend on. And it's to keep the author connected to fans who truly express the word "fanatic" through their support.

What do I do now?

This is broken up into two parts, aimed at two different groups of people. The first group is typically young, after just graduating from high school. They are considering going to college, but think maybe they need a little break. The second group is typically a little older, went to college, and is now wondering where to go from here.
