I think it's ridiculous. The people voted against it, but were turned down. The laws should foremost be decided by the people, not higher authority. It's called a democracy. What do other people think? Post any comments you have... I'm curious!
Okay, so I was recently scanning all I have written for various blogs in the past few weeks, because I have been backed up on a demand for people wanting me to write on various music blogs/political blogs/personal sites. I found an article rather intriguing, wrote up on it with my own personal account relaying to the big picture and here it is.
When one hears the word caged or branded, they often think of the animals to which these acts are normally associated. This may also bring up words like mistreatment and animal abuse, which, of course, bring up the infamous P.E.T.A.; they represent the rights of dogs, cats, pigs, minks, and even turkeys. Pretty much, when one hears of an animal being offended in any way, shape, or form, P.E.T.A.
Schools across California face massive and sweeping budget cuts in the upcoming year. The Governor has proposed an Educational budget cut of over $4.8 billion.

So what is the deal with us third culture kids? Do you even know what it means to be a third culture child? My life, my childhood, has been filled with obstacles and hardships that many Americans just don't understand or even want to understand. Why is it that many people's eyes glaze over when I begin to tell of life outside the United States?
I can't believe the lengths that pre-nursing students have had to go through just to get into a nursing program! I got lucky and got into a great school with a great program. However, it didn't come easy.
How many times are you subjected to references to drugs and substances? Personally, I am subjected to these things a plethora of times a day. I don't even live in a terrible area.
