I posted the blog below as a response to another thread but it seemed good enough and perhaps controversial enough where I thought it deserved a blog of its own.

obesity has increased of the years it is all cause of fast food and T.V. Don't get me wrong i eat fast food and watch tv but in small amounts like i eat fast food only once every 2 weeks. i watch T.V on raining days and when i go to bed. another big thing is video games and cell phones. when i was 8 videos games sucked and cell phones where big I am only 16 but still.

When it come to college and financial aid, children with divorced parents really get the shaft.

     Did you know that private college and universities consider both the custodial parent AND non-custodial parent when issuing financial aid, regardless of whether the non-custodial parent is contributing. 

 You've just recently come back to school or are about to and you signed up for some intriguing classes, some okay classes and some boring required classes. All these require something; a necessity to understand the material and to learn. Aside from professors I am of course talking about text books.

We all know that the price of a college tuition has gone up drastically over the past several years. "the average cost of total tuition and fees at private colleges last year rose to $22,218" which represented an increase of "5.9%" from last year alone; if you include room and board the cost jumps to "$30,367" (1). The cost of public universities also had a substantial increase in cost. The cost of textbooks has also risen substantially.
