Did you hear about Britney Spears this week? Apparently Lynne Spears is reporting that Sam Lufti has been drugging Britney in a Howard K. Stern-esque fashion.

Without a doubt, Britney Spears is the main opic of all the Gossip magazines and television shows. At first I was with everyone else thinking, "This girl is nuts!", but now after seeing so many videos and articles where the paparazzi is overwhelming and downright suffocating the girl, I now feel a bit differently.

I haven't blogged anything political or even semi interesting to most of the ProgressiveU population in quite a while. Life has been insane as sometimes happens. But, I'm feeling half normal this week...

This is not even a topic I particularly wish to speak about because of how disappointing it is, but I'm going to take a stab at this situation.

So, Britney just lost her custody of her kids today. I'm just wondering why the media is giving so much attention to this. It seems America love seeing stars get themselves into trouble rather than hearing them doing something go for the community.

While watching Britney spears perform I felt kind of..amazed. What had happened to her? Of course she had two children, and a breakdown, but...what happeend? We all know she lyp sync-s but what was going onw ith her. What was going on in her mind. Later she blmaed Sarah Silverman for her bad performance, and to me, thats a sorry excuse like Ashlee Simpson's asophogas problems.
