I love my bras. I love the support they provide me. I love the way they “secure” my “assets”. In fact, I love my bras so much that for years I have worn them to bed because it was more comfortable. And besides, how many girls want to risk gravity taking its toll a few years too early and leaving you with saggy breasts?

"What?!"

That's the reaction I'm hoping to get from that audacious title. In my defense, I don't believe this, but we all have fallen prey to agree with a body conscious stereotype at one point in time.

Breast Cancer Genes

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •

Cancer. It seems so prevalent. Or it does to me, considering both my grandmothers have gotten breast cancer, making it more likely that I will one day get breast cancer as well. And considering going through my news feeds, about 1/4 of the topics are about cancer in some way, shape or form. Two things are making me write this blog now. First, a study that just came out of Israel about BRCA genes (I'll get to that later, don't worry), and my shadowing experience on Monday.
