Today when I was working at the library, I came across a book called, 'Die Happy: 499 Things Every Guy's Gotta Do While He Still Can' by Tim Burke and Michael Burke.

It's the grossest book ever. Every chapter has a check list of things to do before guys tie the knot. An underlining theme throughout the book is, guys have no life after marriage.  Read More »

My dad just recently introduced me to a book written by Michael Pollan. The book in question is called In Defense of Food. It talks about how when we focus on nutrition, dieting and eating healthier based on the labels on food packages, we are actually contributing to our own eventual obesity. My Sister's Keeper

I don't know if anyone has read the book My Sister's Keeper, but if not you definately should. It is by far my favorite book, but it is very controversial. It is about a early teenage girl who was born to help her ssterwho is dieing from leukemia. There is acatch...scientist search through her dads sperm and her mothers eggs in order to create a child that would be able to help there daughter.  Read More »

That’s right comic books. I love comic books. Ever since I was little I have read comic books. My father would bring home a random comic book from his business trips and I would read them until they fell apart. As I got older my love of comics faded but never died. So I literally just finished the Diary of Ellen Rimbauer. It is a diary of the woman who first lived in the mansion Rose Red in Washington in the early 1900's. I'm sure you may have heard about Rose Red from the Stephen King movie and I guess there was a TV series on it.  Read More »

Ah, the joys of literature! For the longest time, I thought that books were just a convenient source of entertainment, a way to lessen stress, a method to improve vocabulary and intelligence. Most importantly, for me, it was a way to get lost in someone else's problems, someone else's life.
