On Progressive U, we encourage you to express yourself. We want to hear all the opinions you have, so long as you don’t attack others for their opinions. Many others have not been so lucky. Throughout history, a number of authors and books have been banned from being read by various governments and communities for one reason or another.
At the start of every contest, when all the new members arrive, ready to post about anything and everything they can think of, all the faculty and older members on the site emphasize that all posts should be Progressive. If they aren't, they won't be counted towards the scholarship.
There are a lot of new members; each of you have your own writing style and interests to keep you blogging.
Now, the moderators could continually list things like the FAQ and the TOS in blog after blog to help acquaint each of you with these various things; but what better way to help you find them than to give you points for looking these things up?
So, Americans are always being blamed for consuming more than we should. We package things in too much packaging, throw things away without bothering to recycle, and clearly eat too much (or at least, too much of the wrong thing). Are you better than the average American when it comes to how many resources you do use? How do you stack up compared to other ProU users?
