I understand we are all sloths from time to time but there should be no excuse for ignorance of basic grammar. The grammar rules that I speak of are the most obvious and of first grade level.
Lack of capitalization of the first letter at the beginning of sentences; lack of periods to end sentences, in other words, run-on sentences; shortcut words, e.g. “u” instead of “you.”
There's something so lovely and perfect about published authors' blogs. They are not what you'd call works of art, by all means, as entries merely pose as breaks from their high-tension, deadlined works their careers depend on. And it's to keep the author connected to fans who truly express the word "fanatic" through their support.
After reading comments on a blog, written by a gay man (A Gay in the Life), I have to say that it seems pretty apparent that some people are intolerant of others....
And I am not talking about those who are against gay marriage, (gotcha!) but those who come down on a man or woman that has stated his or her opinion.
Is there a right and wrong? Philosophically speaking...who knows!
Considering this is the first of probably very few blogs you will ever get out of me, I will start of with an introduction of who I am… and what I’m all about.
1. I curse…a lot. If that offends you, well then too bad. I don’t apologize for my inability to limit my vocabulary for someone’s sensitive eyes and ears.
As I scroll down the pages of blogs I see blank ratings and alot of one star ratings yet no comments. Someone is going around and rating various blogs one star and I have seen this on many blogs recently.
I was going to make a comment but i just decided to copy and past into a blog.
I have read many blogs from long-time members of the website about their disappointment in the quality of the large number of blogs that are posted each day by individuals involved in the contest.
Will we some day vote for political candidates on the internet?
Will this put an end to political rallies?
If this is allowed will it promote progressive principles?
The Internet has changed politics, election reporting and political fund raising,
even since the last 2004 election. it is more than obvious in the Presidential Election 2008.
