Have you ever thought about your Internet Footprint?

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •

Millions of social networks, forums, and accounts all requiring a username, password and email. I usually use the same username or a variation of it; Simmons, Dr. Simmons, DocSimmons, etc and I think of all the information I have put on the internet.

Progressive U's Word Limit is Driving me Nuts

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •

11 March 2008

I have to say, progressiveu is taking me a while to get used to. My biggest problem is the word limit. I can understand for the scholarship having a word limit but from what I have read about progressiveu’s policy, the post, regardless of if it is for the contest must be 200 words.

Irrelevancy in blogging

Tagged:  •    •

I feel the insatiable need to write. About something. Relevant. Hot topic. I read this terrible book about political strategy, and the author mentioned button pressing platforms. To gain attention, talk about the hot topics of daily interest, and develop a platform on these issues. Despite hating the actual book, I thought it was good advice. I might as well follow suit, ya?

Thank Goodness for Blogging

Tagged:  •    •

A few years back it was somewhat bad for people to freely express their opinions but thanks to the internet, blogging was created. I love to express myself and I love to read other people's opinions about very important issues. Sometimes I can blog better than I can talk because sometimes you might be talking to a person that doesn't like to discusss certain things.

Freedom of Speech Part 1: Swears

Tagged:  •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •    •

We as Americans (sorry if you’re not in the US but maybe this will give you some insight to our culture) are promised freedom of speech untouched by the government and uncensored. Yet is that what was truly meant? Did our Forefathers want true freedom of speech or merely freedom of speech as long as society found it acceptable?
