Are We Judging Dogs by Color Too?

Not only do people judge humans by their color, religion, and such, now dogs are included in that as well. Large black dogs, such as Rottweilers and Labrador Retrievers, are becoming hard to be adopted. And this is a result of them being born the color black. Take Gozer, for instance. When Jeremiah Wright recently came under fire, Senator Obama quickly denounced him. He jumped on the Romney/Kennedy-esque religion speech as the media continuously played tapes of Wright's fiery rhetoric over and over. Reporters used their adjectives of choice in attempt to distance themselves from Wright in spite of their love for Obama. A frenzy erupted over some minor—and honest—quotes.  Read More »
