What is belief beyond ability to understand?

are we alive? i know that sounds stupid but are we? can we prove that we are alive. of course there'll be some know-it-all that'll tell me. "duh. one shot to the head should prove that you were alive." what i mean though is. couldnt it be that all our life is just imagined. it could be made up.

The world as a whole has slipped away from God and most denominations in the Christian Church are slipping to inorder to gain members. That is not right and wholesome for true believers. Most people don't understand Christianity, so they bash it. If you're one of those people please read this and try to understand where I'm coming from. This is what I believe as a Christian.

Karma. If there was a religion solely based on Karma, that would be for me. Karma is an amazing thing. I believe that I am a good driver. I use my blinker, I merge properly, I don't brake abruptly, and I don't text. Now you may think what I am about to tell you is just coincidence, but I would like to believe differently.

Does controversy enhance or detract from someone's social standing?

It seems as if the answer to this question is two sided.
Controversy can boost one's popularity in the public market by drawing interest to a certain individual or individuals.
Or, it can shame someone.

A Few questions I have thought of, and also been asked:

* “If we evolved from monkeys, why are their still monkeys?

Because, if every animal died after it evolved into a new creature, their would only be a few animals alive. Monkeys (particualiry Chimps) evolved as well...therefore, we both have evolved from similar creatures, that is why we are similar.

has anyone ever told you to stand up for what you believe in?
